Lake District Double Rooms
Appleby Manor Country House Hotel offers guests a selection of individually designed double rooms throughout different areas of the hotel, from the original main house, to the Coach House.
Within the Main House of the Hotel:
The hotel accommodation, within the main part of the house, retains many of the original Victorian features. The hotel rooms have been tastefully restored and feature the original high ceilings and intricate original cornices. All of these hotel rooms are full of character and have all been refurbished in the last few years.
Garden View Rooms:
This double hotel accommodation is more modern as it was originally built in 1990, and is currently being stylishly refurbished 2010. Some of the rooms are on the first floor and some are on the ground floor however all have lovely outlooks; some have views looking out over the putting green and the award-winning gardens (CTB), or alternatively views over the beautiful Eden Valley and to Appleby Castle. £5 per person per night upgrade supplement.
All of the rooms on the ground floor feature their own patio and garden furniture.
These rooms are currently being refurbished in turn (June 2010).
Coach House Annex:
Only 10 yards from the entrance of the hotel, these rooms are delightful and are full of character. Some of the doubles in the coach house have separate showers and one double is suitable for families. These rooms were refurbished in January / February 2007.
All of the doubles are en-suite, some with magnificent views overlooking the beautiful Eden Valley .All of the accommodation is maintained to the highest of standards and cleanliness. All rooms feature tea and coffee facilities, satellite TV, in-house movie channel, direct dial phone and modem points.
