Appleby Manor Wins Small Hotel of the Year!

We are delighted to anounce Appleby Manor has been crowned as the
Small Hotel of the Year in the Cumbria Tourism Awards 2008.
Three Lake District hotels were chosen as finailists for this award, from the many enteries within the Lake District and Cumbria, the finalists were mystery shopped as part of the judging process to determine the overall winner - Appleby Manor. The awards ceremony was held on the 13th of May, altogether there were 156 nominations over 19 categories with just over 50 finalists.
Appleby Manor achives AA4 star status!!!
On a recent visit by the AA the hotel was awarded 4 stars by the inspector due in no small part to the excellent service standards and our friendly team. The upgrade to 4 stars has been planned for some time and has been made possible with the completion of a major refurbishment programme which included the main house bedrooms, reception, hall, conference facilities and installation of wi-fi throughout the hotel.
The Executive Delux Rooms are all individually designed and include feature beds, lcd televisions, jacuzzi baths, heated screen bathroom televisions and bespoke furniture.
